A Dedicated private hosting environment was required by a boutique development team who provide specialty tools to enable global groups of voluntary teams to better care for fellow workers and their locality.
The hosting environment comprised of a cluster of redundant rack mounted HPE nodes supporting both physical and virtual windows based servers. Significantly the rack is power protected by UPS and an Extended Runtime Module. The system is connected to the Internet by High Speed FttN and protected by Cisco ISR and ZBF.
The servers have provided a stable and flexible development and have fully met the development teams production requirements for several years. We have just proven a migration path from the existing physical servers to a secure public cloud environment on Azure to enable greater scalability as the scope has now grown from national to global
